Abstract: Three anionic sulfonic groups are used as monomers to synthesize sodium polyacrylic copolymers by radical polymerization process. The anionic sulfonic groups are: sodium acrylic sulfonate (SAS), sodium styrene sulfonate (SSS) and 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid (AMPS), the redox initiator are ammonium persulfate and sodium bisulfite, the chain transfer agent is sodium bisulfite. The influence of different anionic sulfonic groups on dispersion stability of nanozinc oxide has been discussed.

Abstract: The copolymer of sodium polyacrylic acid and 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid (AMPS) was prepared by radical polymerization process, the effect of mass ratio of AA/AMPS on the viscosity of AA-AMPS copolymer were investigated. Results showed that when the mole ratio of AA/AMPS was 3:1, it had the least viscosity. The dispersion stability of synthesized AA-AMPS copolymer for nanozinc oxide was tested.

Abstract: The crystalline structure of lepidolite is introduced in this paper, its application in lithium ion battery is paid attention. Because of the extraction difficulties from brines in China, it is necessary to take advantage of lepidolite resources, driven by the huge economic benefit and social benefit requirements. The components and particle size distributions of lipodilites in Yichun and Yifeng are experimentally analyzed.

Abstract: Because of the extraction difficulties from brines in China, it is necessary to take advantage of the lepidolite resources, driven by the huge economic benefit and social benefit requirements. Several factories use refined lepidolite to produce lithium carbonate in Yichun city because of the rare metals and high price of battery-grade lithium carbonate. The primary separation of lepidolite from complex silicate minerals is froth flotation. In this paper, the froth flotation process for production of refined lepidolite from Ta & Nb waste minerals in Yichun city and in Yifeng town is discussed.

Abstract: A chemical inducing process was developed to prepare titania-mica pearlescent pigment. MnO2 was used as crystal inducing promoters, a transformation between antase and rutile titania-mica pearlescent pigment was found by calcining at 800°C for 0.5 h. The mass ratio of mica to MnO2, pH value, temperature and dripping rate of MnO2solution and TiOSO4was studied. The crystalline form of titania-mica pearlescent pigment was measured by XRD.

Abstract: Yichunhas the largest rare-metal reserves in China, the explored reserve of lepidolite accounts for 31% in China and 12% in the world, it reserves of Rb and Cs are also the largest in China. The mining process of tantalum-niobium in Yichun and the technical reconstruction for the tantalum-niobium tailing mine is investigated.

Abstract: Because of their widely application of tantalum, niobium and lithium in industry, the occurrence modes of tantalum-niobium tailing mine in Yichun city was investigated by SEM, XRD, XRF measurement. Some interesting results are obtained, which is useful for the next flotation process and for the comprehensive utilization of lepidolite resources in Jiangxi province.

Abstract: Ammonium polyphosphate (APP) produced by non-P2O5 process and traditional P2O5 process were used in the intumescent flame retardant (IFR) polypropylene (PP) composite (IFR-PP). The composite was tested by limited oxygen index (LOI) and UL-94. TGA and SEM were used to study the decomposition processes. Results showed that when the ratio of APP-II/ pentaerythritol/melamine is 3/1/1, the LOI value is 33.1, and all composite could reach UL-94 V0 rating. The results showed that APP by non-P2O5 process had similar IFR properties as APP of traditional P2O5 process

Abstract: Ammonium polyphosphate form V (APP-V) is prepared by melting phosphoric acid and melamine in ammonia atmosphere. The effect of dehydration temperature is studied by detailed investigation of the XRD patterns during the synthesis process. Results show that temperature higher than 3000C is suitable for preparation of APP-V. However, some impure other crystals are still coexisted in the synthesized product. The results are informative for controllable preparation of APP in industrial production

Abstract: A non-P2O5 process to prepare ammonium polyphosphate is studied in this paper, the effect of raw materials is investigated. The XRD spectra of synthesized product are studied in detail. Results show that when the ratio of Mono-ammonium hydrogen phosphate to urea is 0.8:1, ammonium polyphosphate form V is the mostly occurrence. The results are informative for controllable preparation of APP in industrial production.
